How to keep your hair healthy

Being an Indian inherits us to be an integral part of our many festivals. We always want to dress up nice and look the best in festivals and celebrations. We go an extra mile to try different hairstyles, something different from your mundane hairdos. Your hair looks the best and beautiful when you be you, a healthy you.
And well, it’s that time of the year. The festivities have begun, and we want you to flaunt your hair flawlessly. But one thing that comes in our way of maintaining our hair care regime is hectic day-to-day life as we come close to the celebrations. You don’t get time to take care of your hair amidst the day-to-day chores. So, here we let you know what you can do before, after and while enjoying your holidays, celebrating together with your loved ones and looking absolutely best.

Pre-festival haircare:
1. Haircut:
With only few days left, you have only little time. Now is the time when you get anew haircut. Give yourself a new makeover, a different hairdo killed no one. Butwhile going on an adventure with your hairstyle, keep in mind your hair type andtexture. A shorter haircut will always work in your hair health’s favor. You see to itthat you get those wicked split ends and give your hair a healthy, shiny look/

2. Hair Color:
Colors add a zesty feeling to your celebrations and colored hair, well, they bring the fun to it. A dash of your favorite color, or something that you would like to try, could always look stunning. Your hair color might also align and bring out your personality and work like a charm for your outfits as well. You can color a section or get your full hair blue, you could pull that off if you would like that, or you can even try coloring small sections in two different shades the possibilities are endless. Go to a salon nearby, or you can do it yourself as well.

3. Oil your hair:
There’s a saying that “you can’t dig up the well when you are riddled with thirst” meaning you can’t just wake up on the occasion and say “today’s the day I will take care of my hair and oil them.” If you really want to take care of your hair, start oiling them on regular intervals. Avoid oiling your hair on the special days as oil makes you look dull. But oil is a must, as it nourishes your hair while it keeps your
hair moisturized. It brings out the shine and softness, so a hair massage every once in a while is always a treat. Relaxing treat for you as well.

4. DIY Homemade Treatment:

You can try different treatments, there are various hair care treatments and masks that could really transform your hair like our Shea Retention Treatment developed to add texture shine and softness while repairing and reviving your hair from the natures magical source, Shea.

5. Hair Spa at Home:
Hair spas are not a difficult task. It can be done in 20-30 minutes at your place easily. Warm up some oil and give yourself a nice head massage. Massaging for 10-15 minutes cover up everything from root to tip and nourishes your hair while increasing circulation of blood into your scalp. Following a head massage, steam your hairs for few minutes and cleanse it with a non toxin mild shampoo. Maybe
one like Shea Shampoo to clear the product build-ups and moisturize your hair. A proper hair cleanse is incomplete without conditioner. Conditioners are a very integral part of hair care. You could go for our Shea Conditioner. It is formulated with zero toxins and of the natures magical conditioner, shea. It will nourish, moisturize and heal your hair while boosting your hair health. Post conditioner, you
can end your hair spa on a merry note with a hair mask.

During the Festival:
1. Comb Your Hair Properly:
Well-ordered hair always looks good and keeps them healthy. If you want your hair to be healthy and look beautiful at the same time, comb your hair properly with a suitable hairbrush or a comb to your hairstyle.

2. Temporary Hair Color:
We talked about hair colors, but we generally don’t get enough time to get these things done. But you can always try temporary hair colors. They are pretty trendy and one can always do with an adventurous hairstyle. Temporary hair colors could add fun to your celebrations, that too in just so little of your time.

3. Dry Shampoo:
Dry shampoos are a gift for these hectic days. Cleanse your hair once in a while with dry shampoo, as it absorbs the grease and adds luster and volume to your hair, which means you don’t have to wash your hair more often.

4. Hair Mist:
Hair mists are also a great option for festivals. The lightweight formula with a refreshing spray for your hair gives extra moisture and luster to your hair.
