Shipping & Delivery

1) Order Processing

Processing time: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation (Mon–Sat, excluding public holidays).

Cut-off time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST are considered next-business-day orders.

Verification: For high-value or suspicious orders we may contact you to verify details, which can extend processing time.

2) Shipping Coverage

Domestic (India): We ship across India via trusted courier partners.

International (Optional): We ship to selected countries. See Section 8 for details.

3) Delivery Timeframes (Indicative)

Domestic (India):

Metros: 2–4 business days

Non-metro cities/towns: 3–7 business days

Remote/Outlying areas: 5–10 business days

Note: Delivery estimates exclude order processing time and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, festivals, or force majeure.

4) Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

Standard Shipping (India):  Calculated at checkout based on weight/volume and destination.

Express Shipping (Optional): ₹100 applicable (1–2 business days to metro pincodes after dispatch).

Free Shipping Threshold: We offer free standard shipping on prepaid orders over ₹1000 (after discounts, before taxes).

Heavy/Bulky Surcharge: Oversized or heavy items may incur an additional fee shown at checkout.

5) Cash on Delivery (COD) (Optional)

Availability: COD available on eligible pincodes for orders up to ₹1000.

COD Fee: ₹100 per order below ₹1000 (non-refundable once shipped).

Refusals/Unreachable: If COD delivery is refused or repeatedly unreachable, your account may be restricted from future COD orders.

6) Order Tracking

Once dispatched, you’ll receive an email/SMS with your AWB/Tracking number and a link to track your shipment.

Tracking may take up to 24 hours to reflect updates after dispatch.

7) Delivery Attempts, NDR & RTO

Attempts: Couriers usually make 2–3 delivery attempts.

NDR (Non-Delivery Report): If the courier can’t reach you, you may receive an NDR SMS/call—please respond promptly to avoid return.

RTO (Return to Origin): If the parcel returns to us due to incorrect address, unreachable recipient, or refusal, we can reship (shipping fee applies) or refund the product value minus original shipping and any RTO charges (if applicable). COD fees are non-refundable.

8) International Shipping (Optional)

Transit Time: Typically 5–10 business days after dispatch.

Duties & Taxes: Import duties, taxes, and fees are payable by the recipient per destination country’s laws. These are not included at checkout unless explicitly stated.

KYC/ID (if required): Recipients must provide any documents required by local customs for clearance.

Returns due to unpaid duties/clearance failure: Shipping fees are non-refundable. Additional return charges may be deducted from the refund.

9) Address Changes & Delivery Instructions

Before dispatch: Email us at help@beautygarage.com ASAP to request changes.

After dispatch: Address changes or re-routes may not be possible; if permitted by the courier, extra charges and delays may apply.

Couriers can’t guarantee custom delivery instructions (e.g., specific time windows, leave at gate).

10) Damaged, Missing, or Wrong Items

On delivery: If the outer carton is tampered/damaged, refuse delivery and inform us immediately.

Report window: For damaged, missing, or wrong items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at help@beautygarage.com with order ID, photos of the parcel (outer box, inner packaging, product), and an unboxing video (if available).

Resolution: We’ll investigate with the courier and offer a replacement, reshipment, or refund as appropriate.

11) Lost in Transit

If tracking shows no update for 7+ business days (domestic) or 14+ business days (international), contact us. After courier investigation, we’ll provide a replacement or refund if confirmed lost.

12) Partial Shipments & Preorders

Partial Shipments: We may ship items separately to speed up delivery at no extra cost. You’ll receive separate tracking numbers.

Preorders/Backorders: Estimated ship windows are provided on product pages and order confirmations; your order ships once items arrive.

13) Undeliverable or Refused Shipments

If a shipment is marked undeliverable or refused, we’ll process a refund minus original shipping, COD fee (if any), and any return charges. A restocking fee of ₹100 or 10% may apply for opened/used items per our Returns Policy.

14) P.O. Boxes & Restricted Locations

Delivery to P.O. Boxes may be limited to India Post services. Some remote or restricted areas might not be serviceable; we’ll contact you if your address is affected.

15) Holidays & Service Interruptions

Expect delays during major holidays, sale periods, or due to events beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, natural disasters, public emergencies).

16) Ownership & Risk

Title and risk pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided. For international shipments, title may pass upon handover to the carrier, subject to local law.
