Shipping and Delivery Policy

This Shipping and Delivery Policy ("Policy") applies to all orders placed by individual consumers on beautygarage.com ("Platform"), operated by Beauty Garage Limited. It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. This Policy has been prepared in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Scope of Delivery
We currently ship orders across India only. We do not offer international shipping at this time. Deliveries are fulfilled through third-party logistics and courier partners. The availability of delivery to a specific pin code is subject to our logistics partners’ serviceability and may change without prior notice.

To check whether your pin code is serviceable, enter your delivery address at checkout. If your pin code is not serviceable, we will display a notification before order confirmation.

Order Processing
Processing time
Orders are processed on business days, which are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on a business day are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST or on a Sunday or public holiday will be processed on the next business day.

Order confirmation
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via your registered email address and mobile number. This confirmation includes your order ID, a summary of items purchased, the delivery address, and an estimated delivery date.

Dispatch confirmation
Once your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a dispatch confirmation with your shipment tracking number and the name of the courier partner handling your delivery. You can use this tracking number to monitor your shipment in real time on the courier partner’s website or app.

Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines from the date of dispatch are as follows:
Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad): 2 to 4 business days.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities: 4 to 6 business days.
Remote and rural areas: 6 to 10 business days.

These are estimates based on standard operating conditions and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to high order volumes (such as during sale periods or festive seasons), weather events, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control. 

Delivery timelines begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order placement. Processing time of 1 to 2 business days should be added to arrive at the total estimated time from order to delivery.

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Our current shipping charge structure is as follows:
Orders above ₹499: free shipping across India.
Orders below ₹499: a flat shipping charge of ₹60 applies.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: an additional COD handling fee may apply and will be displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to revise our shipping charge structure at any time without prior notice. The charges applicable to your order are those displayed at the time of checkout.
Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number and a link to the courier partner’s tracking page will be shared with you via email and SMS. You can track your order at any time using this link. Tracking information may take up to 12 hours to update after dispatch.
If you are unable to track your order or if the tracking link is inactive after 24 hours of receiving your dispatch confirmation, please contact us at help@beautygarage.com with your order ID.

Delivery Attempts and Failed Deliveries
Delivery attempts
Our courier partners will make up to two delivery attempts at the address provided by you. If the delivery is unsuccessful on both attempts due to your absence, inaccessibility of the address, or refusal to accept the package, the shipment will be returned to our warehouse.

Incorrect or incomplete address
We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery address provided by you at the time of ordering. Please ensure your delivery address, including flat or house number, building name, area, and pin code, is accurate before confirming your order. Address corrections cannot be made after an order has been dispatched.

Returned shipments
If a shipment is returned to our warehouse due to failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address, we will contact you via your registered email address or phone number. You may opt to have the order re-dispatched (additional shipping charges may apply) or receive a refund of the product amount. Original shipping charges are non-refundable in cases of failed delivery due to reasons attributable to you.

Damaged or Tampered Packaging on Delivery
If you receive a package that appears to have been physically damaged, tampered with, or opened in transit, we recommend that you do the following:

Accept the delivery, but record a clear video of the package in its delivered condition before opening it. This video will be required if you wish to raise a return or refund request.

Alternatively, refuse the delivery at the time of handover if the package appears severely damaged or tampered. In such cases, please notify us within 24 hours at help@beautygarage.com with your order ID and a description of the condition.

Please refer to our Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy for instructions on how to raise a return request for a damaged or incorrect product.

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video for every order. An unboxing video is mandatory for all claims of damaged, defective, or incorrect products received.

Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available on select orders and pin codes, subject to a maximum order value. COD availability and the applicable maximum order value are displayed at checkout. Please have the exact amount ready at the time of delivery; our courier partners may not carry change.
If you refuse a COD delivery without a valid reason, your account may be flagged and COD may be restricted for future orders.

Bulk and Large-Quantity Orders
For orders containing a large number of items or exceeding a certain weight threshold, additional processing and dispatch time may be required. In such cases, we will notify you of the revised estimated delivery date via your registered email address. Large orders may also be dispatched in multiple shipments, each with a separate tracking number.

Delays Beyond Our Control
We endeavour to meet all estimated delivery timelines. However, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, cyclones, pandemics, government-imposed lockdowns or restrictions, strikes, curfews, or disruptions in logistics and courier operations. In the event of a significant delay, we will notify you and provide a revised estimated delivery date where possible.

If you remain unsatisfied after escalation to the Grievance Officer, you may approach the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, logistics partnerships, or applicable law. The updated version will be posted at beautygarage.com/pages/shipping-policy with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
