By purchasing or using any Beauty Garage product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Disclaimer. This Disclaimer should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

General Disclaimer
All products sold by Beauty Garage Limited are manufactured in compliance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945, and the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, as applicable to cosmetic products sold in India. Our products are intended solely for external use on hair and scalp unless expressly stated otherwise on the product label.

The information provided on the Platform, including product descriptions, ingredient lists, usage instructions, claims, and any content published through our blog, social media channels, or marketing materials, is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical, dermatological, trichological, or any other form of professional advice. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed dermatologist or trichologist before use if you have any underlying scalp or skin condition, known allergies, or are undergoing medical treatment.

Individual Results
Hair care is inherently personal. The results achieved from using our products may vary significantly between individuals based on factors including hair type, hair texture, porosity, and density; scalp condition and health; existing chemical treatments such as colour, bleach, relaxer, or keratin; environmental factors such as water hardness, humidity, and pollution; frequency and consistency of product use; adherence to recommended usage instructions; diet, lifestyle, hormonal factors, and overall health; and concurrent use of other hair care or styling products.

Before-and-after images, testimonials, and results featured on the Platform, in our marketing materials, or on our social media channels represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. We do not represent that any product will produce a specific outcome within a specific timeframe for every user.

Results shown in marketing communications may have been achieved with consistent use over an extended period. Individual timelines vary. We encourage setting realistic expectations and following the full recommended usage protocol for best results.

Patch Test Recommendation
We strongly recommend performing a patch test before using any Beauty Garage product for the first time, or before using a product that contains an ingredient to which you may be sensitive. To perform a patch test:
Step 1: apply a small amount of the product to a discreet area of skin, such as the inner forearm or behind the ear.
Step 2: leave the product undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours without washing the area.
Step 3: if you experience any redness, itching, burning, swelling, or irritation during or after this period, do not use the product and consult a dermatologist.
Step 4: if no reaction occurs, the product is likely suitable for your skin and scalp. However, a negative patch test result does not guarantee the absence of any future reaction.
Skipping the patch test is at your own risk. Beauty Garage Limited is not liable for adverse reactions arising from failure to conduct a patch test.

Ingredient Transparency and Allergens
The complete ingredient list (INCI list) for each product is printed on the product packaging and is also available on the respective product page on the Platform. We recommend reviewing the ingredient list carefully before purchase, particularly if you have known sensitivities or allergies to specific ingredients.

While we endeavour to keep ingredient information on the Platform current and accurate, the physical product packaging remains the definitive and authoritative source of ingredient information. Formulations may be updated from time to time; in such cases, the updated INCI list will appear on the packaging before the Platform is updated. We recommend checking the packaging at the time of use.

If you have a known allergy to any ingredient commonly found in hair care products, including fragrances, preservatives, proteins, botanical extracts, or colourants, please review the INCI list carefully and consult a dermatologist before use.

Not a Medical Product
Beauty Garage products are cosmetic products as defined under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. They are designed to cleanse, condition, strengthen, and improve the appearance of hair and scalp. They are not medicinal products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, disease, or disorder.

Claims such as “reduces hair fall”, “strengthens hair”, “nourishes scalp”, “improves hair texture”, or similar statements refer to the cosmetic action of the product on hair appearance and condition and do not constitute medical claims. These claims have not been evaluated by any drug regulatory authority.

If you are experiencing significant or sudden hair loss, scalp inflammation, pain, persistent dandruff, or any other condition that may indicate an underlying medical issue, please consult a licensed medical professional before using any hair care product, including ours.

Professional Use Products
Certain products in the Beauty Garage range are formulated for professional in-salon use and are intended to be applied by trained hair care professionals only. These products are clearly marked on their packaging and on the Platform. Use of professional-grade products without appropriate training or in a manner inconsistent with the instructions provided may result in adverse effects including scalp irritation, chemical burns, or hair damage.

Beauty Garage Limited is not liable for any damage, injury, or adverse reaction arising from the misuse of professional-use products by untrained individuals.

Use with Chemically Treated Hair
If your hair has been chemically treated through colouring, bleaching, perming, relaxing, or any keratin or smoothening treatment, your hair may respond differently to our products compared to untreated hair. Chemically treated hair is typically more porous and may be more sensitive to certain ingredients.

We recommend consulting the product description and recommended hair type guidance on the Platform before use. If you are undergoing a professional chemical treatment, please inform your stylist of the hair care products you are using, as certain formulations may affect treatment outcomes.

Storage and Handling
To maintain product quality, efficacy, and safety, please observe the following storage and handling instructions:
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Keep products out of reach of children.
Do not store products in humid environments such as open shower areas for extended periods.
Always close lids and caps securely after use to prevent contamination and evaporation.

Expiry and Period After Opening
Each Beauty Garage product carries either a best before date or a Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on its packaging, indicating the number of months for which the product remains safe and effective once opened. Using a product beyond its expiry date or PAO may reduce its efficacy and in some cases may cause adverse reactions. We recommend discarding any product that has changed in colour, smell, or texture, regardless of whether the expiry date has passed.

Product Appearance and Colour Variations
The colour, consistency, and fragrance of our products may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the use of natural and botanical ingredients whose properties may differ by season, origin, or harvest. Such variations are normal and do not affect the safety, quality, or performance of the product. Images on the Platform are for illustrative purposes and may not represent the exact colour or texture of the physical product.

The Platform may feature reviews, ratings, testimonials, and user-generated content submitted by other consumers. Authenticity and Counterfeit Products
Beauty Garage products sold through beautygarage.com are authentic products manufactured and quality-checked by us. We cannot guarantee the authenticity, safety, or efficacy of products purchased through unauthorised third-party sellers, grey market channels, social media resellers, or unverified marketplace listings.

If you believe you have received a counterfeit or tampered product, please contact us immediately at help@beautygarage.com. Beauty Garage Limited is not liable for any harm caused by counterfeit products purchased outside our authorised sales channels.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beauty Garage Limited shall not be liable for any adverse reaction, injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of our products in a manner inconsistent with the instructions provided on the packaging or the Platform; failure to perform a patch test; use of products on compromised, broken, or inflamed skin or scalp; use of products by individuals with known allergies to listed ingredients; use of professional-grade products by untrained individuals; or storage and handling contrary to the instructions provided.

In any event, our aggregate liability to you in connection with a product-related claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this Disclaimer limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
