Select the appropriate Chroméra White Developer strength according to the desired colour result, starting level and condition of the hair.

With Chroméra Professional Permanent Hair Colour

Standard Mixing Ratio: 1:1.5

Mix 1 part Chroméra Professional Hair Colour with 1.5 parts Chroméra Professional Developer in a non-metallic bowl.

Example:

60 ml Hair Colour + 90 ml Developer

For Chroméra 12 Series High-Lift Shades 12.0 and 12.2, use:

Mixing Ratio: 1:2

Example:

60 ml Hair Colour + 120 ml Developer

Mix thoroughly until smooth and uniform. Wearing suitable protective gloves, apply according to the professional colour application instructions.

Development Time: 30–45 minutes, depending on the selected shade, developer strength, condition of the hair and desired result. These ratios and processing guidelines are specified in the current Chroméra professional guide.

With Chroméra Cool Blonde Lightening Powder

Follow the instructions supplied with the pre-lightener.

For Chroméra Cool Blonde Lightening Powder, use a 1:2 ratio:

30 g Lightening Powder + 60 g Developer

3. Which developer should I choose?

For Chroméra Hair Colour:

10 VOL / 3%: Deposit, tone or darken

20 VOL / 6%: Same-level colour, grey coverage or up to 1 level of lift

30 VOL / 9%: Up to 2 levels of controlled lift

40 VOL / 12%: Approximately 3–4 levels of maximum lift

20 VOL / 6% is the recommended option within the Chroméra system for optimal grey coverage when paired with the appropriate Chroméra shade and formulation.

5. What is the mixing ratio with Chroméra Hair Colour?

For most Chroméra shades, use a 1:1.5 colour-to-developer ratio.

For the 12.0 and 12.2 High-Lift shades, use a 1:2 ratio.

6. Can White Developer be used with Chroméra Cool Blonde Lightening Powder?

Yes. Chroméra Professional Developer can be used with compatible professional lightening products. With Chroméra Cool Blonde Lightening Powder, follow the lightener's specified 1:2 mixing ratio.

7. Does the developer contain Shea Butter?

Yes. All four White Developer formulations you supplied contain Butyrospermum Parkii Shea Butter for added conditioning care during professional colour processing.

8. What is the difference between White Developer and Black Developer?

The White Developer is the conventional stabilized oxidizing cream within the Chroméra colour system. The Black Developer additionally contains a violet-blue pigment system intended to support tone control when used with compatible alkaline lightening products.

9. Can the developer be applied directly to the hair?

No. Chroméra Developer is an oxidizing component designed to be mixed with a compatible professional hair colour or lightening product according to its instructions.

10. Can I use 40 VOL for every colour service to get better lift?

No. A stronger developer is not automatically better. Developer strength should be selected according to the desired result, starting level and condition of the hair. Using an unnecessarily strong developer may place additional stress on the hair.

11. Is this product suitable for home use?

No. Chroméra Professional Developer is intended for professional use only. Developer selection, formulation, mixing and application should be performed by a trained hair professional.

12. How should Chroméra White Developer be stored?

Keep the bottle tightly closed and upright. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, and keep out of reach of children.
