1. Use of Platform

Welcome to www.beautygarage.com (the “Site” or “Beauty Garage”). The Site is operated by Beauty Garage Limited (“BGL”), previously know as Beauty Garage Private Limited an Indian company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at Office No. Ground Floor, 17, MIDC Industrial Area, Road No. 9, Behind Tunga Paradise Hotel, Andheri (E), Mumbai – 400093, Maharashtra, India. 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, any microsites, and interactive features such as live consultations, expert chats and booking tools (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform (including via desktop or mobile browsers/apps), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Return/Exchange & Refund Policy, and Shipping/Delivery terms (collectively, the “Policies”). We may update these Terms and Policies at any time by posting revised versions on the Site; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updates.

The Platform is for your personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for ensuring that your access and use is lawful in the jurisdiction from which you access the Platform.

2. Privacy Practices

We care about your personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you use the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to processing in accordance with that Policy.

3. Your Account

The Site is intended for adults. If you use the Platform on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that person/entity to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use or security breach.

We may suspend or terminate accounts or refuse service at our discretion for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

4. Product & Service Information

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, ingredients, usage guidance, prices, availability and visuals. However, content may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We may correct, change, or update content (including price/availability) at any time without notice.

5. Product Use & Services

Manufacturer: Beauty Garage Limited (BGL) manufactures Beauty Garage products.

Use: For personal and/or professional salon use only; not for resale. Use strictly as directed; patch test advised; discontinue if irritation. Content is not medical advice; results may vary.

Manufacturer liability: For verified manufacturing defects reported within the applicable return window, BGL may replace or refund per our Returns Policy. This excludes misuse, improper application, incompatible combinations, improper storage/tampering, or post-delivery damage.

Third-party services: Independent salon/partner services are their sole responsibility; BGL is not liable for those outcomes.

Pro-only items: Products marked professional use must be applied by trained professionals.

6. Recommendations

Any recommendations provided by our Platform, live experts, or content (including “Talk to our hair expert”, blogs, and consultations) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a medical professional for specific concerns.

7. Pricing

Prices are shown in INR unless stated otherwise. We cannot confirm the final price until you place your order. If an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to technical errors, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the order and notify you. Prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice.

8. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

Our Return/Exchange & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. Key points (summary only; see policy page for full terms):

  • Return/Exchange window: Request within 7 days of delivery; raise the request within 24 hours of delivery if the product is damaged/missing/incorrect. An unboxing video is mandatory. We arrange pickup in 2–4 business days; item must be in original condition with all seals/labels/accessories. Certain products/conditions are ineligible (e.g., used/opened items, incomplete sets, freebies not returned).
  • Refund timelines/method: Typically within 15 working days after we receive and inspect returns.
  • Prepaid orders (Cards/Net-Banking/UPI/Wallets): Refund to the original source within ~7–10 working days.
  • COD orders: Refund via bank transfer or UPI post receipt of bank details (reflection typically 2–3 business days).
  • Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled only if not shipped. If shipped, you may initiate a return after delivery (where eligible).

9. Mode of Payment

We accept common digital payment methods including Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, and Wallets. Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available on eligible orders and pin codes; sample/trial packs are prepaid only (no COD). Availability of payment methods can vary by product/pin code and may change without notice.

10. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to deliver promptly pan-India. Standard delivery may be free; express shipping (if opted) may attract extra charges. Final shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier capacity, location, or unforeseen factors.

11. Communications Consent

By using the Platform and sharing your contact details, you authorize BGL and its service partners to contact you via SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, email, RCS and in-app notifications regarding orders, updates, service announcements, offers or surveys, consistent with law and our Privacy Policy.

12. Chat/Call/Consultation Functionality.

We provide customer support and consultations to help with Site-related queries and product guidance. We may record/store such communications to improve services and for dispute resolution. You agree not to share unlawful, offensive or infringing content during interactions. We may suspend or limit these features at any time.

13. User Content (Reviews, Comments, Submissions)

Content you submit (reviews, ratings, images, text, video, etc.) must be your own and must not be unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or harmful. You grant BGL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, and display such content across media for marketing and operational purposes. We may moderate, remove, or refuse content that violates these Terms.

To request deletion of your submitted content, write to help@beautygarage.com with details (name, email, handle, reason, and date/URL of the content). We’ll process reasonable requests in a timely manner.

14. Intellectual Property

“Beauty Garage”, associated logos, product names, trade dress, graphics, and all content on the Platform are the intellectual property of BGL or its licensors. Access to the Platform grants you no rights to use our marks except as expressly permitted. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Platform content except for personal, non-commercial use.

15. Limited License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and make personal, non-commercial use of the Platform. We may suspend or terminate this license at any time, without notice, for any reason.

16. Service & Content Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided “as is”. While we endeavor to keep information current and accurate, we do not warrant completeness, reliability, or error-free operation. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or factors outside our control (internet outages, third-party issues, etc.).

Content/Expert Guidance: Tips and routines shared through articles, blogs, or consultations are general information—not medical advice. For specific medical conditions, consult a licensed professional.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BGL disclaims all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. BGL, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss, business interruption) arising from your use of the Platform or products, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year from the cause of action.

18. Termination

We may, at any time and without notice, suspend or terminate your access to the Platform for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and you must delete any downloaded materials. Termination does not affect obligations related to fees owed, returns, or limitations of liability.

19. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BGL, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use/misuse of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

20. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause below, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be referred to a sole, independent arbitrator appointed mutually, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, and proceedings shall be in English. Interim relief may be sought from courts having jurisdiction.

For orders shipped outside India (if applicable in future), appropriate rules may apply, with seat/venue in Mumbai unless otherwise required.

21. Site Security

You must not attempt to breach or circumvent Platform security (including unauthorized access, probing/scanning, overloading, spamming, malware uploads, or header forgery). Violations may attract civil/criminal liability. We may investigate and cooperate with law-enforcement authorities.

22. Entire Agreement; Severability; Waiver

These Terms and the Policies constitute the entire agreement between you and BGL regarding the Platform and supersede prior communications. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder will continue in effect and be construed to best reflect the parties’ original intent. No waiver of any breach shall be deemed a waiver of any other or subsequent breach. Headings are for convenience only.

23. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated versions on the Site. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
