Payment Options & Security Policy

Scope: Applies to retail purchases on www.beautygarage.com delivered within India.

1) Accepted Payment Methods

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express (credit/debit)
  • UPI: All major UPI apps (incl. QR & collect requests)
  • Net Banking: Leading Indian banks
  • Wallets: [Insert supported wallets]
  • COD (Cash on Delivery): Available on eligible pincodes; COD fee ₹100 may apply; limits: ₹100 per order
  • EMI/BNPL: If enabled—insert providers, minimum order value, tenure options

We reserve the right to mark select orders/products as prepaid-only (e.g., high value, remote delivery).

2) Prices, Taxes & Invoices

  • All prices are MRP, inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
  • A GST tax invoice is emailed after dispatch and may be included in the parcel.
  • Prices, promotions, and fees may change without prior notice.

3) Payment Security

  • Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment partners.
  • Card data is tokenised via the gateway; Beauty Garage does not store full card numbers, CVV, or OTPs.
  • 3-D Secure/OTP is required for card transactions as per RBI norms.
  • UPI transactions are approved within your UPI app; we never ask for your UPI PIN.
  • We use HTTPS/TLS encryption across checkout and account pages.

4) Fraud Screening & Order Verification

  • Orders may be held for manual review to prevent fraud (mismatch in address, unusual value/volume, repeated failures, etc.).
  • We may contact you for verification/KYC or request alternate payment. If verification fails or is not completed in time, the order may be cancelled and refunded (for prepaid).

5) Payment Authorisations, Holds & Failures

  • Card/UPI authorisations may appear as temporary holds—your bank typically releases them automatically if the transaction fails/cancels.
  • If you see a debit without Order ID, it’s usually a failed/auto-reversed transaction. Banks can take up to 5 business days to reflect reversals.
  • Duplicate charges are rare; if they occur, share screenshots + bank reference number and we’ll coordinate with the gateway/bank.

6) Refunds & Reversals

  • Refunds follow our Cancellation & Return Policy timelines.
  • Prepaid (cards/UPI/net banking/wallets): Initiated to the original payment method after QC/approval; banks typically take up to 5 business days to reflect.
  • COD returns: Refunded via bank transfer/UPI post-QC.
  • Partial refunds (e.g., item-level returns) are supported where applicable.
  • We do not issue cash refunds.

7) Promo Codes, Gift Cards & Credits

  • Promo codes/coupons are single-use unless specified. If an order using a promo is cancelled, the code may be considered used per offer terms.
  • Gift cards/store credits (if issued) can be viewed in your account; balances are non-transferable and non-withdrawable.

8) Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • Keep exact cash ready; some couriers may accept UPI at doorstep (subject to their device/network).
  • Refusing a COD parcel repeatedly may lead to COD restrictions on your account.
  • Shipping/COD fees are non-refundable in RTO (return to origin) scenarios caused by incorrect address, non-availability, or non-acceptance.

9) Your Privacy

  • Personal and payment data is processed per applicable Indian law and our Privacy Policy.
  • We never ask for OTPs, UPI PINs, or full card details via call, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or social media. If you receive such a request, please ignore and report it to us.

10) Disputes & Chargebacks

  • If you raise a dispute/chargeback with your bank, please notify us so we can share evidence promptly. Resolutions follow issuer/network rules.
