Step 1: Cleanse

Wet the hair thoroughly. Apply the Shea Microfuel Thickening Shampoo to the scalp and lengths. Massage gently to create a rich lather, then rinse thoroughly.

Cleanse twice if required. Towel-dry the hair until it is damp.

Step 2: Apply the Reconstructive Spray

Divide the hair into four sections.

For virgin or untreated hair, apply the spray to towel-dried, damp hair. For bleached or chemically treated hair, apply it to dry hair.

Spray 1–2 pumps onto each section, covering the hair from roots to ends. Gently emulsify and comb through for even distribution.

Cover the hair with a shower cap and leave the spray on for 30 minutes at room temperature. Do not rinse.

Step 3: Apply the Thickening Butter

Without rinsing the Reconstructive Spray, apply the Shea Microfuel Thickening Butter directly over the hair, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends.

Cover the hair again with a shower cap and leave it on for another 10 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with water only. Do not shampoo again.

1. Who is this combo suitable for?
It is suitable for weak, porous, brittle, bleached, colour-treated or chemically processed hair that is prone to dryness and breakage.

2. What products and sizes are included?
The combo contains one 300 ml Shea Microfuel Thickening Shampoo, one 100 ml Shea Microfuel Reconstructive Spray and one 250 ml Shea Microfuel Thickening Butter.

3. Is the Reconstructive Spray a leave-in product?
No. It is a rinse-off treatment. Do not rinse it immediately after the 30-minute processing period. Apply the Thickening Butter directly over it, wait another 10 minutes and then rinse both products from the hair.

4. When should I apply the Reconstructive Spray?
Apply it after shampooing and before the Thickening Butter. It is the second step of the three-product routine.

5. Should I rinse the spray before applying the Thickening Butter?
No. Apply the Thickening Butter directly over the processed spray without rinsing in between.

6. How long does the complete treatment take?
Leave the Reconstructive Spray on for 30 minutes, followed by the Thickening Butter for another 10 minutes. The total processing time is approximately 40 minutes.

7. How often should I use this routine?
For damaged hair, it may be used every 15 days during the recovery phase. Once the condition of the hair improves, it may be used once a month for maintenance.

8. Does the routine straighten the hair?
No. It is designed to improve the strength and condition of damaged hair while maintaining its natural texture.

9. Can it be used on bleached or colour-treated hair?
Yes. It is particularly suitable for bleached, highlighted, colour-treated and chemically processed hair that feels weak, porous or prone to breakage.

10. Does it help with hair fall?
The routine helps strengthen weakened strands and may reduce hair fall caused by breakage. It is not intended to treat hair loss caused by medical or hormonal conditions.

11. Is a patch test recommended?
Yes. Perform a patch test before first use. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water.
